SOS Oceans is an interactive space at L’Aquàrium de Barcelona where learning about the sea becomes an exciting adventure.
Designed for children, young people and families, it features five interactive digital stations with games and challenges suitable for all ages.
The experience combines marine science, hands-on learning and environmental awareness. Even the furniture reflects our commitment to sustainability, having been made from recycled plastics and discarded fishing nets, giving new life to materials through the principles of the circular economy.

SOS Oceans encourages visitors to explore some of the greatest challenges facing our oceans through interactive activities. Digital stations reveal the crucial role sharks play in maintaining healthy marine ecosystems, dispel common myths about these remarkable animals and explain threats such as overfishing and habitat loss.
The experience also explores global issues including marine pollution and climate change through engaging, participatory activities. It’s an opportunity to learn through play while discovering how our everyday choices can help protect the ocean.
Ready to test your knowledge of the ocean, discover the truth about sharks and explore some of the biggest challenges facing our seas? L’Aquàrium de Barcelona invites you to experience SOS Oceans, where learning and play go hand in hand. An engaging activity designed for the whole family, offering a new way to discover the marine world and better understand the ocean.
