If the medical questionnaire is not passed, or if there is no required medical authorization, the experience can be carried out in snorkel mode, using a snorkel, always under the supervision of the technical team.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by their legal guardian throughout the activity. The companion does not need to take part in the immersion, but their presence is mandatory to ensure supervision and the validity of the relevant authorizations.

If you’re looking for an intense, exciting and unforgettable experience, this shark immersion is one of the most special activities you can experience in Barcelona.
Each session accommodates a maximum of 4 participants, allowing for a closer, more personalized and safer experience.
The activity takes place year-round, although available spots and dates are limited.
The immersion takes place under the supervision of instructors and professionals from the team of biology at L’Aquàrium.
Throughout the activity, the participant is accompanied by the technical team, following the same safety and control protocols used in the centre’s professional sessions.
In some cases, a medical authorization may be required to take part in the activity.
If the participant does not pass the medical questionnaire and does not have this authorization, the experience can be carried out in mode snorkel, according to the conditions set by the technical team.
