The gray dotted bamboo shark is a benthic shark, which can be found at depths between 5 and 100 m. Its body colorations ranges from brownish gray to cream, with its belly much lighter. The young have certain stripes that disappear as they grow up. It is a solitary shark, with a calm temperament, although it can bite if it feels threatened. It feeds mainly at night on fish, mollusks, crustaceans and other invertebrates
REPRODUCTION
Oviparous, deposits eggs in small, oval egg cases on the bottom.
