The beginning of the visit is transformed into a visual experience inspired by the universe of Gaudí, and marine biodiversity. Gaudí’s dragon dives into the New Aquàrium de Barcelona.

The experience invites visitors to step into an underwater city full of life, where corals, schools of fish, jellyfish and large marine species coexist with shapes and colours inspired by the work of the modernist genius.

In this moving universe, Gaudí’s mythical dragon leaves the “trencadís” (Gaudí’s typical mosaics) behind and dives into the New Aquàrium de Barcelona, becoming just another inhabitant of the seabed.

Beyond its visual impact, “The Underwater City” is also a tribute to Gaudí’s deep connection with nature. Organic forms, the sea, light and marine biodiversity were a constant source of inspiration for his work.
