Touch, observe, experiment… L’Aquàrium’s Education Department has prepared an experimental workshop for children to learn about aspects of marine life.
How many arms do starfish have? Where’s the mouth? Can they move? Pupils can discover for themselves! A short story and a song help children to learn about starfish and some of their relatives. Children can observe and touch these marine invertebrates to arouse their curiosity to find out more and encourage them to ask questions. The workshop ends with a discussion to enable the children to share their emotions and discoveries.
